For our third session, we'll visit and discuss a key turning point in the 13 Colonies' relationship with Britain. This session we'll discuss the French and Indian War, as well as the aftermath of that war, leading up to the Stamp Act and Townshend Acts. Join us on January 15th at 18:30 to discuss how these crucial moments in history led to the American Revolution and began to form the American identity.
The American Identity series is dedicated to enhancing understanding of American history and identity, spanning from pre-colonial times to the contemporary era. Using American passport images as a catalyst for discussions, the series is crafted to unveil nuanced perspectives within American history and culture.
Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
