Are you interested in learning how to effectively convey the reality of the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the world? Do you want to know what kind of stories and materials capture the attention of the international community? Do you want to counter the propaganda and disinformation spread by Russia and its allies?

Join us for the panel discussion “The Power of a Story. Communicating Ukraine Abroad” where we will discuss:

  • The truths and myths behind the belief that the global community experiences fatigue when reading the news about the Russian invasion of Ukraine;

  • What stories/materials/visuals work/do not work these days for the international community;
    How to communicate about the Russian invasion of Ukraine to international audiences;

  • What narratives and disinformation campaigns does Russia use against Ukraine for the international community and why they are successful?

  • Tips for professional journalists and for ordinary English-speaking Ukrainians who share their stories with international communities.

The event will feature speakers from various media outlets and organizations who have experience and expertise in covering the Ukrainian war and its implications:

The event will be in English, with online streaming available.
