ADMISSION

To enter America House Kyiv and take part in our activities you need to register and bring your physical passport or physical driver’s license. Visiting America House Kyiv is possible with pre-registration, during scheduled events. The space is not currently open for visitation outside of scheduled activities. Please familiarize yourself with our admission guidelines and code of conduct before visiting America House Kyiv. 

Should the sirens go off during programming, America House Kyiv may close for business and evacuate the building. We recommend you find the closest bunker provided by the city before your visit. We use the Shelters in Kyiv City bunker map provided by the city as well as the metros. Prioritizing your safety should always be a top priority. 

In case of emergency power outages, programming will continue without interruption. 

ENTRANCE 

  • Visiting America House Kyiv is possible with pre-registration, during scheduled events. The space is not currently open for visitation outside of scheduled activities.

  • Admission is free of charge. 

  • To enter America House Kyiv, all persons, age 16 and older, must present state-issued photo ID (internal passport, foreign passport, or driver's license) to the guards. 

  • Persons under 16 are not allowed to enter America House Kyiv.

  • All visitors and their effects are subject to screening by security personnel. 

  • Cell phones and other personal electronic equipment are allowed. Picture taking and sharing is encouraged. 

  • America House Kyiv is wheelchair accessible. Strollers are allowed inside. 

CONDUCT 

America House Kyiv is a welcoming place for open dialogue. Guests must be respectful of America House Kyiv property and all people who enter this space. The following actions are examples of conduct NOT ALLOWED on America House Kyiv property: 

  • Disrespectful guests. 

  • Visitors who are inebriated, under the influence of drugs, or acting inebriated or under the influence of drugs. 

  • Smoking inside America House Kyiv. 

  • Disruptive behavior, such as creating loud noises, loud talking, screaming, or abusing America House Kyiv equipment/property. 

  • Entering America House Kyiv barefoot or without a shirt or removing one's footwear or shirt while in America House Kyiv, or being otherwise attired so as to be disruptive to the America House Kyiv environment. 

  • Having offensive body odor or personal hygiene so as to unreasonably interfere with other visitors' ability to use America House Kyiv and its facilities. 

  • Using America House Kyiv technology or Internet access to engage in any activities related to gambling, accessing sexually explicit material, violating copyright laws or illegally copying intellectual property, abusive or objectionable language, or unlawful or malicious activities. 

America House Kyiv staff or security guards will deny entry or remove visitors who violate any of these rules or engage in activities that do not conform to common understandings of appropriate, considerate behavior 

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE AMERICA HOUSE KYIV

  • Explosive devices, flammable liquids, guns, edged weapons, pepper spray, and other hazardous materials are prohibited. America House Kyiv guards cannot provide storage of such materials. 

  • Visitors are not allowed to bring alcohol into the facility. 

  • No pets are allowed in the building (except for service animals).
