Sports Fridays: Film Screening “Friday Night Lights”
Join us this week at America House Kyiv as we continue our weekly sports programming. On December 5th at 18:30, we’re hosting a special screening of an American classic, 2006's Friday Night Lights. Based on H.G. Bissinger's book, which profiled the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas and their heroic high school football team, The Permian High Panthers. After the film, ELR Charlie will lead a discussion on the film and the cultural importance of high school football in the United States.
