What do you get when you combine Ukrainian talent with American tutorship? We invite you to see and hear for yourselves on June 26th!
For the past 3 months, a select group of up-and-coming Ukrainian performers have been getting ready to take the world by storm, working closely with American trainers Mackenzie Thomas and Joel Rivera during the FRESH: Art of Broadway & Dance from the USA program. They’ve been busy not only honing their performance craft, but also learning all about what it takes to succeed in a creative career guided by experts of the performance arts from America.
This Saturday, we invite you to a special virtual concert where the FRESH graduates will present the progress they have made, the skills they have learned, and show us all what lightning in a bottle emerges when Ukraine and America meet!
Whether you dream of the glimmering lights of Broadway, or to dance in a hip hop battle on the streets of New York, America is the place to be, and American artistry is what to be inspired by. With this event we’ll also be kicking off two weeks of virtual events dedicated to the 4th of July, the American Day of Independence throughout which we’ll be celebrating American culture.

This event is part of the Fresh: Art of Dance & Broadway from the USA program, organized in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, the Association of American Voices, America House Kyiv, and the State Department’s Arts Envoy Program.

Протягом 3 місяців група перспективних українських виконавців готувалася запалити нашу віртуальну сцену у співпраці з американськими тренерами Макензі Томас та Джоелом Ріверою під час програми FRESH: Art of Broadway & Dance from the USA. Під керівництвом професійних американських виконавців вони не лише відточували майстерність виступу, але й вивчали, що потрібно для досягнення успіху у творчій кар’єрі.
Цієї суботи ми запрошуємо тебе на особливий віртуальний концерт, де випускники FRESH продемонструють свої досягнення від участі у програмі, навички, які вони засвоїли, і також покажуть нам, якого креативу можна досягнути, коли Україна та Америка зустрічаються пліч-о-пліч!
Незалежно від того, чи мрієш ти про блискучі вогні Бродвею або позмагатися у хіп-хоп батлі на вулицях Нью-Йорка, в Америці можливо все, а американський артистизм не знає меж. Цією подією ми також розпочнемо два тижні віртуальних подій, присвячених Дню незалежності США, протягом яких будемо святкувати надбання американської культури.
