Join us this Saturday as we continue our documentary Saturday screenings. This week we will watch 2013's viral sensation “Blackfish”. This documentary follws the controversial capitvity of killer whales, and its danger for both humans and whales. Stay after the screening for a discussion with ELR Charlie.
However, his collaboration with these inspiring characters as they recreate photographic images of themselves out of garbage reveals both the dignity and despair of the catadores as they begin to re-imagine their lives.
Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
