American Identity With Charlie: Ukrainian-Americans

There over a million Americans who claim some Ukrainian ancestry, but what is the history of Ukrainian immigration to the United States, and what does it mean to be both Ukrainian and American? At 19:00 on May 9th we will be exploring Ukrainian-American identity and what it means to be a Ukrainian-American.

The American Identity series is dedicated to enhancing understanding of American history and identity, spanning from pre-colonial times to the contemporary era. Using American passport images as a catalyst for discussions, the series is crafted to unveil nuanced perspectives within American history and culture. 

Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.   

📍 The deadline to register is May 7th by 10:00 AM.

The event will take place at America House Kyiv (Mykoly Pymonenka Street 6.) Please familiarize yourself with the rules of admission before your visit. Remember to bring your passport or driver’s license to enter America House Kyiv.
