We at America House Kyiv invite you to a totally unique event, American Anthems: The Times They Are A-Changin'. Presented by David Livingstone, an American academic living in the Czech Republic, American Anthems is an interactive talk and performance examining American history through a variety of anthems from the 18th century all the way to the 1960s. Join us at 18:30 on March 22nd and bring your singing voices!
David Livingstone is an American academic who lives and works in the Czech Republic. He is spending this semester teaching at Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk. An expert in the field of American studies, he has published numerous academic articles in international journals about American culture and, specifically American folk music.
Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
