American Identity With Charlie: America Across the Seas

  • America House Kyiv 6 Mykoly Pymonenka Street Kyiv, 02000 Ukraine (map)

What does it mean to be American? In the third part of our American Identity Series, we will be exploring American maritime history and America's first connections to the outside world. How did trade and immigration impact the development of America and American identity in the 18th and 19th century? Join us at 19:00 on March 14th as we attempt to uncover the answer.

The American Identity series is dedicated to enhancing understanding of American history and identity, spanning from pre-colonial times to the contemporary era. Using American passport images as a catalyst for discussions, the series is crafted to unveil nuanced perspectives within American history and culture.

Attendance and participation are free. You just need to let us know if you’re coming by registering for the event in advance. We’ll save you a spot and keep you posted about any changes.
