America House Kyiv is launching its fourth round of its creative writing program — the perfect opportunity to improve your writing skills, expand your creativity and see your name (and writing!) in print.
This program is intended for participants who have a strong command of the English language and are eager to write regularly. The program will be conducted virtually and with offline meetings in Kyiv. It will be conducted entirely in English. Every 2 weeks, you will participate in engaging online workshops where you will be able to hone your writing skills, discuss ideas, and learn to channel your unique perspective through composing. The focus of this edition of the program will be non-fiction writing, but writers of all genres are encouraged to apply!
Please consider that creative writing also involves a willingness to share your ideas with others, provide feedback to your peers and colleagues, and revise your writing. If you are moved to join the America House Kyiv Creative Writing program, please fill the application form by January 16th. This program has limited spots and candidates will be chosen based on their motivation, prior experience and writing skills.
The selected participants will be notified via email by January 27th. The program will take place from February 2nd, 2022, until May 25th, 2022, and we will meet virtually every 2 weeks, on Wednesday evenings from 19:30 - 21:00.
Participants should attend at least six sessions. Those who fulfil the requirements of attending at least six sessions and provide a final piece will receive a Certificate of Completion as well as the opportunity to see their work part of a creative writing collection print book, created by America House Kyiv.
