Teachers Training: Economic Rights — Freedom from Poverty, Work Rights

What is the best way to protect our choice of where we work, what profession we choose, fair wages, limitation of working hours, and safe and healthy working conditions? To learn about them, of course! This is the first step to ensure our human economic rights are protected. Join us on Monday to discuss what economic rights are exactly and what we can do besides learning about them to protect them.

📍 The deadline to register is October 24th by 12:00 PM.

"Teachers Training: Beyond the Curriculum" is a series of open virtual workshops from America House Kyiv. Work with English Language Resident, Meagan Abrahamsson and other educators from Ukraine to learn how to implement critical lessons through human rights education in your classrooms. You will learn new approaches through theory and practice, completing exercises and executing your own capstone project. Take an active part in a dialogue on fostering understanding and values through education, exchange experience, and expand your network!

This 8-session web series dedicated to human rights education in the classroom will take place weekly on Mondays at 5:00 PM Kyiv time through September-October 2022.

Join any session that interests you or register for the Certificate track: attend at least 6 six sessions and complete all activities to earn a Certificate in Humans Rights Education Basics from America House Kyiv.
