Remote sensing of the Earth has already gained recognition from the world's leading nations as one of the ways to ensure national security and maintain international stability. In addition, there is a sharp increase in the interest of international business circles in the implementation of their own commercial space projects in the field of remote sensing, and the industry is receiving huge investments, despite the global pandemic.
During the conversation “Global trends. World Market for Remote Sensing of the Earth from Space” we will discuss current tendencies in the field, such as the rapid growth of not only of the number of satellites and sensors, but also the amount of data produced by remote sensing. What is the role of artificial intelligence technologies in the remote sensing sector and how can this help governments and private businesses? How can Ukraine not only protect its territory, but also open new investment opportunities with the planned launch of its own remote sensing group in the future?
