Join us for some fresh perspectives on separating fact from fiction with two experts in journalism trends and media literacy.

Michael Bociurkiw is a Canadian writer, speaker and development professional who contributes to CNN.com, the Huffington Post and a frequent guest on CNN International, BBC World and NPR. Mr. Bociurkiw will take on the role of tech giants in taking editorial responsibility of information sharing.

Mehri Karyagdyyeva, Director of Programs for IREX Ukraine, will reveal demand-side responses to the problem of manipulative information as an essential companion to supply-side solutions such as alternative content production and support of independent, ethical, and truthful journalism.

The event will be in English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
