Please join us for an exciting informal chat session with our special guest - Brendan Scott

1.He was completing my BA in Political Science at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. The school boasts being the most diverse university in the world per capita with students from over 70 different nations (including some Ukrainians) who study there. He will finish up his degree next spring and will do a joint JD/MPA program starting in Fall 2017.

2.He has lived in and taught English as a second language in three different countries (Taiwan, Vietnam, Ukraine).

3.He lived in Ukraine in 2014 towards the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity managing English-language schools in Kyiv.

4.Two of his passions are nature and photography and he loves combining the two. He has participated in competitions and been featured in different local organizations and competitions.

5.He enjoys rock climbing a lot and has climbed extensively in the western United States, including the famous Yosemite National Park (which he feels is heaven on earth).

6.He grew up in northern California and Arizona doing Boy Scouts of America where he learned a lot of wilderness survival skills.

7.He previously interned at Phoenix Municipal Court, one of the largest limited jurisdiction courts in the USA, where he worked in mediation.

8.He loves a wide variety of music – some of his favorites being Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, and Kanye West.

In order to enter America House you should present a passport (internal or external) or driver's license. Other documents such as: America House membership card, student's ID, press cards or other IDs are NOT valid for entering America House.
