Americans have a warm regard for Thomas Jefferson because of his indispensable contributions to their country. Being Founding Father and the primary author of the Declaration of Independence he was a great thinker with optimistic view of the future of humanity.
Nowadays many quote him and are inspired by his wisdom. Eric C. Petersen is one of them. For ten years he was studying Jefferson’s reports, speeches and letters that resulted in Light and Liberty - the book of inspiration that Thomas Jefferson never wrote, although every word here is his. Editor Eric S. Petersen, after extensive study has elegantly woven together thirty-four concise essays of profound wisdom on how to lead a meaningful life, as individuals and in our life as a nation.
This year the book was translated into Ukrainian and it is a great pleasure for us to host Mr. Petersen as he talks about Thomas Jefferson and his legacy.
