Kalyna:

Hi everyone! My name is Kalyna and I'm an incoming senior at Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. This summer I've been interning with the Fulbright Organization and America House here in Kyiv. My parents are both Ukrainian-American and I spent most of my life living in Ukraine and going to Kyiv International School. I grew up bouncing between Ukrainian and American cultures, traditions, and languages, making it difficult to answer the question of where I'm from, but easy to feel at home at America House. Over the years, I've traveled back and forth between the U.S. and Ukraine more times than I can count, as well as visiting over 20 different countries around the world. When I'm not busy with school work, l enjoy playing volleyball, going to the beach, and spending time with my family. I'm so excited to meet and chat with all of you on August 9th, see you soon!
