Come to America House and chat with Daniel and his daughter Katya!

Daniel (Danylo) was born and raised in Maryland, one of four sons of Ukrainian immigrants.  After medical school, he completed residency training in pediatrics, followed by additional fellowship training in pediatric cardiology. He initially worked in the Washington, DC area and is now in private practice in Austin, Texas, where he lives with his teenage daughter, Katya.  Besides work, he is active in fitness, travel, and refugee resettlement/mentoring in Texas, activities that he shares with Katya.  He is also very interested in advanced technologies for the management of heart rhythm disorders in children, and how to promote these technologies in Ukraine.  Katya is a 17 year old high school student, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time.  They are excited to visit America House to share their experiences about the US education system, medicine, and returning to their ancestral roots in Ukraine.
