Optimism. Do you see the world through “rose-colored glasses”? Can positivity affect your reality? Find out this week as we discuss the science of optimism. We’ll explore how attitudes sometimes defy the truth and debate whether it’s better to be an optimist or realist. Join us for this evening of positively intriguing discussion at America House.

At the end of the English Club at 20:15 pm at America House is the first presentation of the art:optimism: project in Kyiv. For one week from February 15 till February 22 America House hosts an interactive installation in order to reconsider “optimism” in Ukrainian society and inspire people towards a positive world perception. Visitors will have an opportunity to become an owner of New York MetroCard with a single printed word “optimism”. These cards today are very rare and are recognized as artworks created by Reed Seifer, an American artist with Ukrainian roots.
