The topic of the chat will be Sports in America – a discussion of the most popular professional sports, with references to the importance of sports in America’s history. You will find out:
- Differences between what is popular in the United States vs. what is popular in Ukraine;
- Regional differences in the United States;
- Young peoples’ involvement in sports;
- Our popular sports reflect American values.
Some interesting facts about Greg: he’s been a diplomat for 12 years, and has served in Europe (Germany, Ukraine) and Central Asia (Tajikistan and Afghanistan). Each of those countries has their own unique sporting history, which he tried to learn about when he lived there. He's originally from Dallas, Texas, and he was trained as a lawyer.
