“Lilo & Stitch” – American Film Nights at AHK

Join us for a screening taking place at America House Kyiv and participate in a discussion about family values, compassion, and a sense of belonging in “Lilo & Stitch” (2002), a directorial debut by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois about a genetically engineered extraterrestrial who finds a home with a spirited young girl and tries to navigate life on Earth. 

Explore the language of cinema, watch movies in their original language, and practice your English-speaking skills through friendly moderated discussions at American Film Nights with America House Kyiv. Join us Tuesdays at 18:30 at America House Kyiv.

As Stitch, a runaway genetic experiment from a faraway planet, wreaks havoc on the Hawaiian Islands, he becomes the mischievous adopted alien “puppy” of an independent little girl named Lilo and learns about loyalty, friendship, and ohana, the Hawaiian tradition of family.
