TED English

Want to learn something new about our brain’s reaction to physical exercise or maybe you just need a little extra motivation to get to the gym?

Join this week’s session of TED English to learn about the positive effects that exercise can have on the brain, while practicing your English through an interesting discussion and Q&A session. In “The Brain-Changing Benefits of Exercise,” the informative TED talk by Wendy Suzuki, you will learn all about the positive effects of exercise on our minds including improved memory, focus, mood, and more!

In this one of a kind English Speaking Club facilitated by a native English-speaking America House Kyiv volunteer Kalyna Rondiak, you’ll have the opportunity to break down the language, grammar, and vocabulary used in this talk and share your reactions to the topic by interacting with other online participants.

About Kalyna:
Kalyna Rondiak is an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University studying business marketing and psychology. She grew up attending international school here in Kyiv, Ukraine before going to boarding school in Connecticut and eventually landing in Ohio for university. On campus, she gives tours as a University Ambassador and is also involved in Greek life. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, being in the sun, and spending time with her friends and family.
