Листи до Америки - це мультимедійний проект, який досліджує питання колективного уявного і культурної міфології українців про себе і США через особисті наративи. Відправною точкою проекту стало дружнє листування між українцями та американцями, ініційоване Вікторією Миронюк в 2011-2012 роках в рамках мистецької резиденції CEC ArtsLink в місті Колумбус, штат Огайо, США. Художниця почала збір листів від громадян України, розмістивши оголошення про проект у кількох українських ЗМІ. В результаті, Вікторія отримала близько 80 листів з різних міст і сіл України від дописувачів, вік яких коливався від 7 до 94 років. Ці численні свідчення українців були перекладені на англійську мову і розповсюджені випадковим адресатам арт- листоношею - Вікторією Миронюк. У листах автори описують своє повсякденне життя, особисті та політичні переживання, а також індивідуальні прохання. При цьому, вони також демонструють їх уявну Америку і власну країну, яка часто є сплавом багатьох особистих історій, стереотипів і сюжетів популярних фільмів.
На відкритті виставки «Листи до Америки», Вікторія Миронюк і музикант Іван Любиш-Кірдей виконають перформенс, який побудований із уривків письмових свідчень авторів. Вибрані тексти стосуються авто-описів України і українців, таким чином, піднімаючи питання про національну ідентичність, соціальне тіло і ідеології, які беруть участь в їх конструюванні.

Letters to America is a multimedia project which researches the issues of collective imaginary and cultural mythology of Ukrainians about themselves and the USA through personal narratives. The starting point of the project was the friendly correspondence between Ukrainians and Americans initiated by Victoria Myronyuk in 2011-2012 within the artistic residency of CEC ArtsLink in Columbus, OH, USA. The artist has launched the collection of letters from Ukrainian citizens placing an announcement about the project in several Ukrainian media. As a result, Victoria got around 80 letters from various towns and villages of Ukraine from citizens whose age varies from 7 to 94 years. These numerous testimonies of Ukrainians were translated into English and delivered to the random receivers by the art-postman -Victoria Myronyuk. In letters, the authors describe their everyday life, personal and political preoccupations, as well as individual requests. In doing that, they also display their imagined America and there own country fusing many personal stories, stereotypes and plots of popular films.
During the opening of the exhibition Victoria Myronyuk and the musician Ivan Lubysh-Kirdey will perform a 30-min performance which is based on the excerpts from written testimonies of Ukrainians. The chosen texts refer to the auto-descriptions of Ukraine and Ukrainians, thus raising questions about the national identity, social body and ideologies which participate in its construction.
