American Food Stories: Be Vegan, Be Mine

Almost half of Americans make a resolution each year to lose weight, and while only 4% of Americans are vegan, one of the best ways to kick start a health plan is to eat less meat (not to mention it's great for the environment!). Healthy, meat-free food does not have to bland food either! That’s why we’re cooking up a lentil vegetable soup with a slight kick of curry spice, as well as some hearty and protein packed black bean burgers. 

Our English Language Resident, Marie Snider (also a meat-eater with a resolution to eat less meat) will walk you through the how-tos of making these delicious dishes and then you’ll have an opportunity to fill up on them! 

The event date is February 7th from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. 
Pre-registration is required.
