Kristina Gray, Adjunct Writing Instructor, 1998-2000 Fulbright Scholar in Kyiv, Ukraine, Dr. Wieland from the University of Minnesota Crookston Campus and Michelle Christopherson, M.A who is the Director of Admissions at the University of Minnesota Crookston will lead a seminar on academic integrity and basis of creative writing for students and faculty staff.
The seminar is to outline main issues students should take into account in creative and research writing as well as to discuss plagiarism as one of the most serious academic integrity violations.
Specialists will point out best practices students, high school teachers and faculty staff use in the US, discuss widespread academic integrity violations in Ukraine and set up a road map for those who would like to improve their skills in writing and learning how to write.
