Teachers Training: Supplementing EFL Materials with Bloom's Taxonomy and Web 2.0

Add some spice to your English language materials, engage and inspire your students, and meet curricular and classroom needs using Bloom's Taxonomy and Web 2.0. This workshop will introduce and demonstrate a variety of Web 2.0 applications that support each level of Bloom's Taxonomy, as well as how they can be utilized to support both curriculum and prescribed textbook goals in the EFL classroom.

Trainer

Crystal Bock Thiessen graduated with Bachelor's degrees in both Photography and Spanish, and received her Master’s in TESL from the University of Central Missouri, USA where she eventually worked with the IEP for a year and a half. She taught EFL in Sapporo, Japan for three years and in Lugansk, Ukraine for one, and especially enjoys American Culture and technology for language learning as professional interests. Currently, she is an ESL instructor at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Besides teaching, she is a professional photographer specializing in weddings and travel photography and, combined with her love of travel, has photographed and visited 36 countries and 25 U.S. states.
